Reverse engineering

We digitise parts, assemblies, machines and large-volume elements to rebuild their geometry when no drawing exists, the CAD model is out of date or the part has been modified over its service life.

Using high-resolution 3D scanning, we capture the full surface of the object and, from the point cloud or mesh, create parametric or surface CAD models ready for manufacturing, modification or simulation.

This service makes it possible to produce spare parts for discontinued components, redesign and improve existing parts, adapt tooling, document the as-built condition of a facility or integrate new elements into existing assemblies. We work both at our own facilities and on the customer's premises, adapting the level of detail and accuracy of the model to its final use.
