Seam search: real-time look-ahead calculation of corrections to move the torch towards the seam.

End-detection tracking: the sensor detects the end of the seam and stops the welding.

Configurable gap tracking: the sensor can be configured to weld straight and skipping some programmed gaps along the joint.
